Annette Funicello (born Annette Funicello) was an American musician, actress and performer. Her most famous role was that of "one of the original Mouseketeers" in the Mickey Mouse Club. As a teenager she began her singing career. She became well-known for songs like 'Tall Paul 'and 'Pineapple Princess. Annette was born in Utica to Italian parents. In her early years, she was prone to shyness. Annette was determined to pursue a career as an entertainer and began dancing and performing. She gained fame during the 1950s, when she played the role of "Mouseketeers". Annette changed her Disney image when she grew up and took to adult characters.
