Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films generally that are in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and a morbid enjoyment of the genre. Her reviews started at the end of 2009 and, when she began to gain some recognition (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used) Allison Pregler was part of the family at Channel Awesome. The website was her home until 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents was changed to Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts through her channel, both of which cover the Charmed series and co-hosted together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action playing Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was also her first film. She's also appeared on Brad Jones' series Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows as well in occasional adult-oriented comedies (such as Baywatch 2017.). She began reviewing films late in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited to join the reviewer group. There have been numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall up to Phelous & the Movies. She was a member the team of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
