Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri has been a popular Indian actress who achieved recognition for her performance in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun and Beta Saajan. In the 80s the actress began her acting career, and was popular with the role of Tezaab, in which she starred with veteran actor Anil Kapooor. The next film she appeared in was Dil which she was on screen with Aamir. When she was a kid, the Mumbai-born dancer began developing her skills at a young age. She ventured into acting as an infant and was struggling for a few years as most of her initial films failed. In the end, she was successful in Indian film and climbed to the top. After her wedding, she took a time off from her acting career until she returned. In recent times, she was in a prominent role on the film Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India, was bestowed upon her. She has also been recognized by the field of social work.
