Most famous for her role in the TV show Friends and also for one of the principal parts in the Scream movie franchise. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, she discovered an early love for acting. Her first choice was to attend Mount Vernon College to study architecture at Washington DC. However, after a few years she decided to leave and explore acting as a profession. Her debut film role Down Twisted. The fame of her was born when she took on one of the main roles in the horror slasher film Scream. Commercially, the film had an impressive level of popularity. The budget was more than 10 times the amount it brought in. This film was well-received by critics. The actress reprised her character in all the three sequels to the film. Her popularity reached new heights following her performance in the main role in the popular sitcom Friends. The actress received numerous nominations and awards for her performance. The show, which became a big hit, aired in the tv channel for 10 years. As of her most recent appearance, she played an important supporting role as a supporting character in Mothers and Daughters. She has won several accolades, such as the TV Guide Award and Golden Derby Award.
